Oasia Hotel Downtown is an impressive sample of a sustainable modern skyscraper that is ideally suited for a hot and humid tropical climate. The project was implemented  in 2017, and soon it has already won the prestigious top prize of the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH), in the “2018 Best Tall Building Worldwide” nomination.

The Oasia Hotel Downtown shows how greenery can be integrated and maximized 3-dimensionally, encapsulating the idea of a ‘City in Garden’ in the experience of the building. This building brings biodiversity back to the city and creates a biophilic environment for the people inside and outside of the building.

The design unifies the mixed-use development with a 192 m tall green envelope to create a landmark destination. Overall, it achieves more than 1,100% green replacement, effectively compensating for the lack of green in 10 additional sites of equivalent area.
