In a previous article we discussed the modern buildings, constructed of glass and aluminum, and most importantly there were raised a number of problems that exist in the construction of the translucent designs. Here I would like to share some knowledge and experience to provide effective assistance in improving the manufacturing quality of aluminum structures.

To begin, let’s consider some points of assembling window and door systems made of aluminum profile, as they are used most frequently. Windows or doors made of aluminum can be set not only at the facades of translucent structures; these elements are often used inside the premises. It should be noted that they not only almost constantly in operation, but also always are in sight. The above implies that there are high demands not only to the quality and reliability of the fabricated structures, but also to its appearance that should be also considered when manufacturing windows and doors made of aluminum.

Window and door systems have a large number of different options, so before making a new design is necessary to deal with the installation order. Some items should be placed in the fittings groove even before the construction will be glued together. There are accessories, which requires additional milling of the profile, but some elements are installed on one side only, regardless of how opens the unit - right or left. All this will enable to assemble the design properly. For cutting profiles are used a lot of equipment from different companies.

The basic meaning for optimum operation has only the functional characteristics of saws and precision of the cut profile, not the brand. In the process of manufacturing aluminum profile products, in my opinion, you just need to use the two-headed saws; it gives a more exact size at sawing profile. Simple one-headed saw can be used for those types of jobs that have higher complexity and can not be performed with the help of twoheaded saw. We strongly recommend using the pads when cutting profile: they allow you to fix the profile on the machine in proper way and prevent it from mechanical damage.
