Superiority Technologies
LG Electronics is preparing to release a fourth generation multi-zone system – Multi V IV, which, according to the experts from the LG Headquarters (Twin Towers, Seoul) will mark a new standard for VRF - conditioners.
In 2011, LG represented in Russia its innovative system air conditioning solution, MULTI V III. For two years it showed the highest performance characteristics under all operating conditions, and then in October 2013, was officially announced MULTI V IV system. This groundbreaking product is the embodiment of the company’s consistent commitment to excellence and technological innovation. One of the main changes in the new generation system was the refusal from the conventional compressors in favor of DC power inverter with a speed of from 15 to 150 Hz, and the application of new technologies, namely: Vapor Injection, HiPoR and Smart Oil Return.
Increased Speeds to 150 Hz
Unlike the previous generation of scroll inverter compressor used in the MULTI V III, the new compressor has learned to work in the frequency range from 15 Hz to 150 Hz. This change enabled to increase system performance and improve its efficiency due to reducing the overall power consumption.
Direct Feed of Low-Pressure Gas
Technology of the direct feed of the low pressure gas into the cavity of the compressor allowed to increase refrigerant mass flow through the compressor and the indoor units in the heating mode, and also improve performance and efficiency of the system at 27 and 11%, respectively, compared with the MULTI V III system. Application of the technology of low pressure gas injection allowed extending the temperature range up to -25 º C in the heating mode, which is especially important for most regions of Central Russia.
