Towers in Love
Originally designed for his home-town City of Mostar in Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, this concept is aimed at the world’s cities that aspire to be recognised for unique and iconic architectural forms.
Inspiration
This masterpiece of sculptured architecture is first of its kind. It is the pinnacle of organic architecture inspired by natural shapes and the most organic form of all, the human being. The inspiration for this design stems from Mostar, an old town in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The town is rich in organic forms of old time architecture that compliments its natural environment. An example of that is the heritage icon bridge in Mostar, which connects two sides of the river, solely constructed of stone without any cement or lime. It was built almost 500 years ago without any surveying instruments or technologies that we have today.
Unfortunately that bridge was destroyed during the Bosnian war in the 1990s, however, reconstructed some years later 2004 allowing both sides of town to come together again. The architect’s surroundings in Mostar have inspired the architect to create what today has become sculptured architecture and with that introduce to the world his vision, goal and passion which are now coming into fruition in the ‘Towers of Love’ project. The project aims to bring back the beauty and soul of its natural environment into the aesthetics of this new wonder of the world that symbolises unity.
