The history of the MERO company dates back as far as the first half of the twentieth century. The ambassador and the founder of the company is DEng Max Mengeringhausen. It all started with an idea to introduce manufacturing of industrial cell structure elements to efficient, innovative and individual construction solutions.

Max Mengeringhausen (1903 - 1988) developed the constructive proposal on the so-called MEngeringhausen ROhrbauweise – the Mengeringhausen construction pipe. Thus the MERO system emerged in the late 1930s. By founding the MERO company in 1949 he made the first step to the worldwide success of the MERO structure in space.

Today the MERO-TSK production departments offer a wide range of design concepts that can be used in standard and tailor-made projects.

The basic idea is to apply the laws of nature to building constructions. It silently defines the philosophy and profile of the MERO-TSK company that works with numerous international subsidiaries and cooperates with corporate partners all over the world. The headquarters and the production facilities of MERO-TSK are located in Germany, in the cities of Würzburg and Prichsenstadt accordingly.

The MERO-TSK construction systems are filigree roofs and facades, different types of sub-structures and membranes. Three-dimensional systems, point-fixed glazing, cable and tensile structures, special coatings, membrane structures, facade systems and structural glazing – this is the full list of what the German company does.
